Cengage Mobile App Reviews

Worthless, the thing about a mobile app is that it's mobile, in today's world any college student is on the go and needs to get their work done on the go. You would think that having a mobile app you would be able to complete your assignments this is not the case. I use an iPad for EVERYTHING and got by just fine until I took medical terminology through mindtap and all my assignments need to be done on a computer. This is a shame, and in my opinion very crappy of cengage.

Doesent seem to open any documents

There is a quiz section for each chapter and they were not even close to the in depth questions that were used on the exam. The exam questions are also provided by Mindtap. This app was useless, and did not help in anyway to prepare.

Im sure iPad users are a minority, but at least give us the ability to view our textbooks

Registered my account properly but it wont let me login to the app, tells me the username and password are incorrect.

You cant even do anything on it. Waste of time.

You cant do any assignments....the quizzes you take are NOT the same as the website ones and dont count in the website grade book.

I thought it would be a convenient way to study the actual material, not just tell me what I need to study . Dont get it, its a waist of space.

So...there are other apps that are flashcards and practice quiz makers that are way better designed and I dont need an app to give me my course schedule, which is literally all this app is good for. At the very least Cengage could make the reading material available on the app so that while on the train/bus/in line/waiting in between lectures etc. the app holder can be semi-productive. Instead Cengage lures you in with this idea that spending 3+ hours on your Cengage account to be a better student actually includes the apps functionality. Piece of garbage and yeah, the website is pretty much garbage too only you can actually do stuff (unless youre mobile...WHAT?!)

You think a mobile app would be better then the web version but you cant actually do anything in this app.

Read the other reviews. This app REALLY does NOTHING. I know...hard to comprehend...Unfortunately, I have to give it at least one star in order to submit my review, but its not deserving of it.

I signed on but it said no active course? Currently I register for ORGB course and able to view the course online.

I shouldnt need an active course in order to read my book on my phone. If I go to the website on my phone I can access the book without it telling me to have an active course. I am currently enrolled in school taking this course.

Signed on, no boom showed up even though I have 2 active mindtap course. The only thing Cengage cares about is their intellectual right, not learning. Why else is it so difficult to let the book owner access the ebook version of their text books?

Love the idea of having an app to access cengage... But it doesnt even allow you to login.

I can log in, but my course is not showing up at all. Theres no place to register the access code. The app simply doesnt work.

I am clearly registered in the course. I have a class and access code I entered. The app says I have no active class but I do! Very disappointing

Great app. Just would like for my book to have a voice to read to me like a true ebook.

I CANT log in!!! Can anyone help? I have an account online....

This app deserves no stars so far because I followed all instructions to a T and I cannot log in. I am a student, also registered on the website. My credentials will not work to log into the app. Currently trying to work with customer service with no success. If I can eventually get in, Ill change my review.
